I have not found the time to read anything much, let alone write... but I mentioned looking into the “Jewish Question” (so to speak) in the previous post.
This, of course, takes us back to all sorts of Conspiracy Theories, which date back at least to the 18th century CE.
I have been through a lot of material about conspiracy theories years ago, and frankly, found it bewildering & exhausting.
The whole problem with conspiracy theories is that anybody can say almost anything about anyone: anybody can be a “shill”, an agent, a double-agent, a triple-agent, a “crypto”-something, a fake, a charlatan.
There is no way of finding out what is going on either in the highest circles of the world elite, or in the deepest, darkest, most unknown corners of the world.
There are so many conspiracy theories with so many people making so many wild allegations against everyone else, that it’s impossible to figure out who is who, and what is what.
At a certain point, I gave up my researches, out of both, utter exhaustion at the lies & half-truths of conspiracy theorists, as well as paucity of material.
The books are full of the most sordid contradictions, inconsistencies & incoherencies.
Undoubtedly, the entire modern world-system is the result of a conspiracy.
That, I definitely believe in.
“Democracy”, as well as Socialism and Communism, are the products of a prolonged conspiracy.
Liberalism is the product of conspiracy.
None of these were the natural outgrowths of the so-called ills or abuses of monarchy, “religion”, “priestcraft”, “despotism”, “tyranny”, and all that venomous rubbish which has been spewed non-stop since the time of the Enlightenment.
The wretched “Enlightenment” – with the pathetic Voltaire & Rousseau at the visible intellectual centre – was also a conspiracy.
The sinister American Revolution – and the vicious French Revolution – all were results of a conspiracy being planned for centuries.
But who started it all – who has spearheaded, guided & directed these movements for centuries – when & where did it begin – how did it become so powerful and prevalent – who all have been funding & financing the whole thing – how coteries fought & then joined hands – was it one group or many groups that got together – whether the core group is founded on religion or race or simply a belief-system – this is almost impossible for the common man to determine.
I am fully aware of the controversies surrounding the Illuminati, the Jesuits, and the Freemasons – and last but not the least, the Jews.
Indeed, I’ve known all this for at least 17 years.
After years of confusion, of being misled & hoodwinked, of the wild contradictions & hypocrisies of all sorts of theorists, after years of disillusionment & disappointment – I concluded it has become very difficult to fight any specific group, or race, or religion – whoever is behind these world-events, can be fought on the basis of ideas.
Fight the ideas, fight the values, fight the narratives – and there is a chance of defeating the monster.
In all this, comes in the question of the Jewish people.
I don’t think anybody needs any introduction to the notion of Jewish Conspiracy Theory.
That Jews have played an overly important role in the rise of “Democracy” – in the rise of Socialism & Communism (& Bolshevism) – in the rise of the “Left” – in the rise of Liberalism – doesn’t need to be proven.
Everybody knows it.
Everybody knows that of all communities, races, and creeds in the world, they have gained the most, from the rise of Republicanism, the Rights of Man, the Constitutional form of government, Modern Liberalism, and the ideal of “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity”.
And yet, not even in the 19th century, were they singularly BLAMED, for being the root & cause of this world upheavel.
This doesn’t mean that the Jewish conspiracy theory is automatically proven wrong – but it is noticeable that most Liberals then were neither Jewish, nor overtly concerned with Jews (at least their connection with Jews remains unpublicized).
Some Liberals were known to make Anti-Semitic remarks.
And yet, there is sufficient evidence that the Jewish-Kabbalistic elite was definitely part of the Anti-Monarchical, Anti-Priestly, Anti-Religion movement which overthrew the old order, and established the order which exists in the world, today.
There are some positive (& alarming) hints that they’ve been at it, for centuries – and this evidence comes from Kabbalists themselves.
But there is no positive evidence so far that they were the ROOT of this movement —
that they started it all — and it is all meant to serve their purposes.
Of course, the talk of “evidence” when it comes to conspiracy theories is a little ludicrous – and yet, without at least some evidence, without at least indirect links & associations – how can one make such accusations?
The accusations are very serious, and can have terrible consequences.
So any claim made HAS TO BE backed up with substantial documented material – even if it is claims & references made by others.
No “Anti-Semite” has been able to give a coherent account of the origin, rise, spread, & gradual empowerment, of this Jewish conspiracy.
Least of all the Nazis, who kept talking “blah”, as far as I know.
The people who have given most hints are the Jewish people themselves – when they themselves came up with the “Sabbataen Frankist” angle – which was never talked about, even 50 years back.
I’m aware of this dimension too, but haven’t really researched on it.
It feels like a bit of a decoy – a diversion.
The desire for world-conquest – or rather, the total overthrow of the old order, and supplanting it with a new world order, dominated by a world monarch – does NOT begin with Sabbatai Tzevi.
This is found, as I’ve pointed out earlier, very explicitly & unambiguously, in The Monarch, by Dante Alighieri, more than 350 years before Tzevi existed.
The red herring of the “Sabbatean Frankists” has been as effective as the decoy of the “Bavarian Illuminati” which was an insignificant society with a totally insignificant history, and represents only a FRACTION of the world revolution, a fleeting moment in the history of the Illuminists.
I don’t take this “Sabbatean Frankist” thing seriously.
It is not false in itself, but the strategy is to distract the masses with some half-baked theory which actually conceals something much larger and way more sinister.
Even since this “Sabbatean Frankist” thing has been bruited around, nobody has clearly established any link or progression of historical events & characters involved in this conspiracy.
It is all patchy & pasted-&-glued-together guess-work – there are thousands of contradictions – and at the end of the day, nothing but broad, vague speculation.
To make strong incriminatory statements on such bases is very dangerous.
In all this, the question of the Bavarian Illuminati seems to be of paramount importance.
Well, it isn’t.
The Bavarian Illuminati is mistaken for THE ILLUMINATI, which, I don’t think, is true.
The Illuminati goes a long, long way before the Bavarian Illuminati.
It’s way bigger.
The only importance of the Bavarian Illuminati lies in the fact that this silly secret society was exposed – and the true aims & ideas of its founders was laid bare before the authorities – and subsequently, the world.
Adam Weishaupt was not a very important man – and strangely enough, no conspiracy theorist seems to know what he did, after his secret society was exposed in about 1786 – no conspiracy theorist has bothered to read the numerous books he wrote AFTER the collapse of the Bavarian Illuminati – and nobody knows what he did for the several decades he lived, after that.
Why is that?
Any thorough investigation would examine each & every moment & movement of his life – but no, they all rely on what Abbe Barruel wrote in his History of Jacobinism (which I read, cover to cover, more than 12 years ago)!
Whom did he meet?
What did he do?
What is written in all his books?
What was his network or social life like?
Not a word!!
That’s why nobody takes these conspiracy theorists seriously.
Now, I won’t write much, because I’m running very short on time.
It is claimed that the Illuminati was created, funded, and directed, by the Jews.
I’m absolutely sure that Jews were important in the Illuminati – though I’m never clear whether we’re talking about the Illuminati per se or just the Bavarian Illuminati founded by Adam Weishaupt.
Because we are also told that Goethe was an Illuminatus or whatever they were called.
He was very close to Moses Mendelssohn who was, it’s claimed, a “Sabbatean Frankist”.
And yet, it doesn’t seem that Goethe was a great admirer of the Jewish people.
I’ll quote from something I’d written about 4 years ago.
Basically, it was about the Anti-Semitic views of two great liberals – namely Voltaire and Goethe.
The quotes are taken from the notorious Anti-Semite, Houston Stewart Chamberlain.
(Begin Quote:)
“He writes in the ... book, The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century :
“As regards the social influence in particular, I will only quote two wise and fair authorities, whose judgment cannot be suspected even by the Jews, namely, Herder and Goethe.
The former says, “A ministry, in which the Jew is supreme, a household, in which a Jew has the key of the wardrobe and the management of the finances, a department or commissariat, in which Jews do the principal business ... are Pontine marshes that cannot be drained”;
and he expresses the opinion that the presence of an indefinite number of Jews is so pernicious to the welfare of a European State, that we “dare not be influenced by general humane principles”; it is a national question, and it is the duty of every State to decide “how many of this alien people can be tolerated without injury to the true citizens?”
...
Goethe goes still deeper: “How should we let the Jews share in our highest culture, when they deny its origin and source?”
And he became “violently enraged“ when the law of 1823 permitted marriage between Jews and Germans, prophesying the “worst and most frightful consequences”, particularly the “undermining of all moral feelings” and declaring that the bribery of the “all-powerful Rothschild”
A very revealing piece of information, if you ask me.
He further goes on to write about Voltaire {I’ve used Google Translate to translate the original French passages}:
“I have intentionally limited my quotations.
But I cannot refrain from defending in a note the great Voltaire against the almost established myth that he was altogether favourable and as superficial in his humanitarian judgment of the influence of the Jews upon our culture, as is the modern fashion.
Even Jews of such broad culture as James Darmesteter (Peuple Juif, 2e éd. p. 17) print the name Voltaire in thick type and represent him as one of the intellectual originators of their emancipation.
The opposite is true; more than once Voltaire advises that the Jews be sent back to Palestine.
Voltaire is one of the authors whom I know best, because I prefer interesting books to wearisome ones, and I think I could easily collect a hundred quotations of a most aggressive nature against the Jews.
In the essay of the Dictionnaire Philosophique (end of Section 1) he says:
“You will find in the Jews only an ignorant and barbarous people, which for a long time joined the most sordid avarice with the most detestable superstition and the most invincible hatred for all the peoples who tolerate and enrich them.”
In Dieu et les hommes (chap. x.) he calls the Jews “The most hateful and shameful of small nations”.
Enough has surely been said to make his attitude clear!
But this opinion should have all the more force, since Voltaire himself in many long treatises has made a thorough study of Jewish history and the Jewish character (so thorough that he who has been decried as a “superficial dilettante” is occasionally quoted to-day by a scholar of the first rank like Wellhausen).
And so it is noteworthy when he writes (Essai sur les Moeurs, chap. xlii.):
“The Jewish nation dares to display an irreconcilable hatred against all nations, it revolts against all its masters; always superstitious, always greedy for the good of others, always barbaric - creeping in misfortune, and insolent in prosperity.”
His judgment of their mental qualities is brief and apodeictic, “The Jews never invented anything” (La défense de mon oncle, chap. vii.), and in the Essai sur les Moeurs he shows in several chapters that the Jews had always learned from other nations but had never taught others anything; even their music, which is generally praised, Voltaire cannot endure: “Go back to Judea as soon as you can ... you would enjoy playing your hateful music in your hateful jargon.” (Lettre du Dictionnaire).
He explains elsewhere this remarkable mental sterility of the Jews by their inordinate lust for money: “Money was the object of their conduct at all times”. (Dieu et les hommes, xxix.).
Voltaire scoffs at the Jews in a hundred places; for instance, in Zadig (chap. x.), where the Jew utters a solemn prayer of thankfulness to God for a successful piece of fraud; the most biting satire against the Jews that exists is beyond doubt the treatise Un Chrétien contre six Juifs.
And yet in all these utterances there was a certain reserve, as they were destined for publication; on the other hand, in a letter to the Chevalier de Lisle on December 15, 1773 (that is, at the end of his life, not in the heat of youth), he could speak his opinion freely:
“Whether these depraved people of Israel call themselves from the tribe of Naphthali or Issachar, this is very unimportant; they are nonetheless the greatest beggars who have ever defiled the face of the globe.”
Evidently this fiery Frenchman had just the same to say of the Jews as any fanatical Bishop; he differs at most in the addition which he occasionally makes to his bitterest attacks, “l don’t burn them”.
There is a further difference in the fact that it is a humane, tolerant and learned man that utters this very sharp judgment.
But how, in a man of such open mind, can we explain the existence of a view so pitilessly one-sided and so ruthlessly intolerant, a view which in its utter lack of moderation compares very unfavourably with the words of the German sages quoted above?
Our age could learn much here, if it wished to!”
Well, I’m not sure how Anti-Jewish Voltaire was.
I do know he was not enamored by them, and criticized them freely, but then he was a critic of everything & everyone.
I’m sure I’ve read somewhere – I don’t remember where – that he supported the building of the Third Temple at Jerusalem.
But out of what motives, or whether there were ulterior motives or not, is not clear to me.
The literature from that period, especially French & German, is largely untranslated, out of circulation, and very difficult to obtain: so it’s difficult to pass judgment based on few statements, however severe, however trenchant.
What Chamberlain does demonstrate is that not all Liberals, Revolutionaries or Freethinkers liked the Jews: some of them positively hated them, but, in line with their Liberal views, they not only preached toleration but also unity; they not only condemned religious persecution & prejudice, but also advocated the civil rights of all & political emancipation & Freedom of Conscience.
Thus, whether or not they liked Jews personally, or as a religious community, or a race, their views were conducive to the liberation & empowerment of Jews.
Most of them were anti-religious altogether, and condemned religious fanaticism & prejudice everywhere.
The great poet, the idiotic & puerile dreamer, the foolishly freethinking Shelley wrote, of the Jews {as quoted by Charles Sotheran , one of the founders of the Theosophical movement, in his short biography on the poet; originally from Queen Mab}:
“There an inhuman and uncultured race
Howl’d hideous praises to their demon—God;
They rushed to war, tore from the mother’s womb
The unborn child—old age and infancy
Promiscuous perished; their victorious arms
Left not a soul to breathe.
Oh! they were fiends,
And what was he who taught them that the God
Of nature and benevolence had given
A special sanction to the trade of blood?
His name and theirs are fading, and the tales
Of this barbarian nation, which imposture
Recites till terror credits, are pursuing
Itself into forgetfulness.”
Jibes & jabs directed at Jews are way too common, to be taken too seriously.
Even great champions of “Liberty”, like Jules Michelet, make these slips-of-tongue, or almost unconscious asides, which reveal a subconscious distaste for Jews.
So, for instance, in one essay, while writing of the Jesuits (rather, against
“From the Alps to Fourvieres, and thence to Paris, the signals have answered one another.
The moment seemed favourable...
Good easy France was asleep, or seemed to be so.
They wrote to one another (like the Jews of Portugal formerly), “Come quickly, the land is good, the people stupid, every thing will be ours.””
This shows that Jews were associated (at least in the past) with an unscrupulous, grasping, greedy & opportunistic mindset – and even someone like Michelet can’t refrain from such an ephemeral, though very revealing, remark.
Point is, if Chamberlain is to be denounced for his Anti-Semitism, so should be Voltaire, so should be Goethe – at least from Chamberlain’s point of view.”

These quotes don’t prove much —but they prove some-thing.
Voltaire was a charlatan no doubt, and may have played all sorts of games throughout his life – but it seems Goethe openly talked against Rothschild!
No wonder he is hardly ever referred to, by the contemporary media – whereas he was considered one of the greatest men of letters, even in the 19th century.
If Goethe was an Illuminatus – (I have reason to believe he was) – and the Illuminati was created/funded by Rothschild – how does he talk against Rothschild?
One can always say he was pretending to hate Rothschild – and this is where Conspiracy Theory loses its footing, and enters the realm of pure speculation where anything can be anything.
It makes more sense to conclude that reality is quite complicated and that THE ILLUMINATI MIGHT HAVE BEEN ANTI-JEWRY, ANTI-ROTHSCHILD.
And yet, I have come to no such conclusion.
I’m just quoting what Chamberlain has quoted in his text.
As I’ve said, the moment you start digging, contradictions emerge, confusion abounds.
There is some more evidence to show that the Illuminati was Anti-Jewish.
But then there is some evidence to show a deep interest or regard FOR the “Kabbalah” – a most suspicious position.
For one, we have that quote by Shelley.
Charles Sotheran – who is very friendly with the “Israelites” & Kabbalists – & a friend of the Illuminati – tells us that Shelley was an Illuminatus – and Shelley wrote those very harsh words about the Jews.
{“For the Man Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, the carpenter's carnate son, the mystical Essene and occultist, Shelley exceeded in love and reverence many of the most earnest Christians, and in no theological writings can there be discovered such beautiful sentiments concerning the “The Regenerator of the World,” and the “Meek Reformer,” of whom he speaks as contemplating that mysterious principle called God, the fundamental of all good, and the source of all happiness, as every true poet and philosopher must have done. It is impossible to turn to any page of his works, where, in speaking of Christ, he fails in this—he expatiates with as great fervor as Renan, Seeley, or Strauss, on Christ’s exposing with earnest eloquence, like all true members of the brotherhood of Illuminati, to which he belonged...”}
This re-inforces the idea that Illuminati members like Goethe & Shelley were NOT exactly Pro-Jewish.
Many of these Liberals – if not all of them – did NOT like Jews, and especially disliked Rothschild.
(A man like Sir Walter Scott may have had different ideas – in his novel Ivanhoe, a Jewish moneylender and his daughter are important and very positive characters.
Charles Sotheran is himself a shady character.
In the same book he writes something weird (italics & underlines are mine):
“Positive dogmatists are tyrannically endeavoring to crush the belief in a soul, that All which makes the-present life happy on earth, the hope of our heritage in a future state.
To them the fact that the race from the dawn of history, and through the ages has knelt down in abnegation before this inscrutable truth is nothing.
This glorious belief evolved from the primæval Cabala (?????), taught in ancient Egypt, found contemporaneously in India, enunciated by scholarly Rabbis, ever present before the Chaldæan and Assyrian Magi, and laid down as axioms in the philosophical schools of Greece and Rome, not only to be discovered a fundamental in the Egyptian, the Hebraistic, the Brahminical, the Buddhistic, the Vedic, but also in all the sacred books of every nation, and handed down and perpetuated to these days as a sacred legacy from the past, by both Mohammed and Christ.

Anybody who uses words like “Primeval Kabbalah” – and who calls Prophet Mohammad a Kabbalist (!) – is not to be trusted.
Anybody who admires John Stuart Mill – is not to be trusted!
Finally we’ll be told that the Kabbalah is the original sacred doctrine of mankind – and that all other creeds were but imperfect, pathetic reflections of the “Primeval” Kabbalah – and that the Rabbis have kept it in its pure, undiluted form for 2,000 years.
DUH!
{This theory is propounded, however indirectly & convolutedly, by none other than Madam Blavatsky, who seems to have spent her entire life pretending NOT to be an Israelite & a Kabbalist; writes Sotheran in the same book on Shelley (italics mine):
“A great traveler, and most learned modern writer on Occultism, who claims, on good grounds, to have been received into the ancient branch of the Rosie Cross in the far East, Madame Helena P. de Blavatsky, imparts the following particulars:
“The first Cabala in which a mortal man ever dared to explain the greatest mysteries of the universe, and show the keys to those masked doors in the ramparts of Nature, through which no mortal can ever pass without rousing dread sentries never seen upon this side her wall, was compiled by a certain Simeon Ben Jochai, who lived at the time of the second temple’s destruction.
Only about thirty years after the death of this renowned Cabalist, his MSS. and written explanations, which had till then remained in his possession as a most precious secret, were used by his son, Rabbi Elizzar, and other learned men.

This book proved an inexhaustible mine for all the subsequent Cabalists, their source of information and knowledge, and all more recent and genuine Cabalas were all more or less carefully copied from the former.

Utter & total rubbish – all totally unprovable.
Too much slobbering all over the Kabbalah, I must say!
Too much importance given to it.
From here, it is but a couple of steps to say that “Jehovah giving the Laws to the Israelites on Mount Sinai” is nothing but an allegory for “Angels” giving the “Kabbalah”, the only original & true secret doctrine of mankind, in the keeping of the Israelites!
Given that Chaldea, Persia & Egypt are all dead & gone – and Hinduism is totally destroyed except in name – the Brahmanical caste having been wiped out through virulent Liberalism – the only truth-bearers today are the Kabbalistic Rabbis, who are the only existing hierophants & adepts fit to guide the spiritual life of the world!}
Was Charles Sotheran an Illuminatus?
Does Charles Sotheran really reflect the views of the Illuminati?
Because, in that case, there seems to be an undeniable link of the Illuminati to Kabbalah and the Kabbalistic Rabbis.
But did men like Goethe subscribe to these views?
So far, I don’t know.
Not much literature of those days has either been translated, or is easily available.
None, in print – and very little, online.
There might be some kind of split within these factions.
Some complication of sorts.
Maybe their views changed with time.
Blavatsky is a great admirer of Kabbalah – but she keeps spewing venom on the Jews, in all her writings.
(Much more venom on the Jesuits!)
One would think that the Kabbalists are somehow Anti-Jewish!
Honestly, it’s not easy to determine Blavatsky’s position towards the Kabbalistic Rabbis, because she’s the biggest of all conmen – or con-women!
And yet, haven’t we been told that there maybe 2 or 3 different types of Kabbalah?
That there’s a “Kabbalah” – a “Gnostic” Kabbalah – followed by the “Frankists” – which is actually Anti-Jewish?
Was this the Kabbalah of Blavatsky & Sotheran – and the Illuminati?
Does this position make any sense – or it is mere posturing?
As I said, the more one starts delving, the more contradiction & confusion arises.
That’s one reason why I have kept away from these wild speculations.
But the fact remains that men like Voltaire, Goethe, and Shelley – and Herder – made strong remarks against Jews.
They could be posturing & pretending – but we do not really know that.
And if they were part of the Illuminati – or associated with the Illuminati – reality may be considerably more complicated & different than what appears on the surface.
There is a possibility that the Illuminati was, originally, Anti-Jewish.
